We'll save a ton on the gas bill!

We recently had our first big home purchase installed.
Many of you haven't seen our house.
Those who have will understand our delight with our brand new windows.
The whole house feels different.

Aren't they beautiful!?!

How about that nice looking grass in the front. It's amazing what you can do with a little dirt and some help from a nephew (and others).

We Won!

Every November Trinity has a fundraiser called Pack the Gym Night. All the money goes to needy Trinity families. Along with a night of basketball games there are baskets raffled at the end of the night. For the first time we won a basket! Mrs. Richards Kindergarten put together this "Early Learner" basket. Luke's gonna have to be smart now...

First Road Trip

Friday night we drove up to Grandma and Grandpa J's house in Wisconsin.
It was Luke's first long car ride. He did great thanks to a little dashboard toy with lights and music. We went up to meet Uncle Chad, Aunt Erin, and cousins Maddie and Emma. Here are a few of the pictures.

Hard to believe Aunt Lydia and Uncle Kurt used to hang out in this sling.

Bet you can't guess what Luke and his uncles are watching on a Sunday afternoon

A baby for each aunt!

Getting finger eating advice from his older cousin.

Emma, the rock star.

Long Overdue Pictures

I know it was two months ago, but I just found a couple e-mails from Jen full of baptism pictures. I've got to learn to scroll down to the bottom when I check our e-mail! So here are the highlights of Luke joining God's family. September 3rd, 2006. Luke was 8 days old.

Uncle Matt, Aunt Jen, Mom, Dad, Luke, and Aunt Kendra

The little family

Thank you for the dress...er..gown, Mrs. Schroeder!

A nice quiet weekend...

Cousin Anna and Shawn came to visit on Friday night. My favorite part of the evening was Anna putting Luke to sleep for the night. If I could afford it, I would keep her! They stayed most of the day Saturday. Shawn and Scott tried to take over the world, a few times, by playing Risk. It gave Anna and I plenty of time to catch up. COME BACK SOON!

I thought we should show everyone what a typical Sunday looks like at our house. We didn't take pictures of Luke's bath...we wouldn't want to embrass him!

Training the future Sunday football watchers of America.

A little muscle building between halves.

But Luke would rather talk with his dad.

Ahhh, Monkey!

Thanks for the great outfit, Grandma H.

Trying the be just like Mommy when she was little

This picture is a "gross misrepresentation" of Luke actually taking a nap

This is Luke finishing a big Broadway number.

Well, you talked me into it

This is for Chad. I finally have internet at home and have unearthed our digital camera so I felt it was time for Scott, Luke, and I to get ourselves a blog. This should make the grandmas happy.
