Memorial Weekend

We spent some much needed family time up in Wisconsin a few weeks ago and here are the pictures I thought we should share.

Grandpa and Luke playing in the sand

FISH!

See if you can figure out who Luke's favorite Uncle is...

There are a lot of them and they are loud, Mommy!

Belated...

Erin and Jen, if you could pass this post along to your children, thanks!

To Cole

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Uncle Scott, Aunt Kathy, Luke, and Ben send you a lot of love and can't wait to see you this summer.

Uncle Scott and Luke have been practing baseball so they can play with you at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

We hope you had a great birthday.

To Maddie,

First I just want to say what a beautiful picture! Second HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Uncle Scott, Aunt Kathy, Luke and Ben hope you had a great day. We love you and miss you very much. We can't wait to play with you and Emma at Bumpa and RaRa J's house this summer. We are so excited that you are 3 already! What a big girl you are!

*yes, these wishes are VERY late. yes, we feel like the worst Aunt and Uncle ever! and yes, we will try not to miss Emma and Mya's birthdays which fall later in the summer.

Seriously though, isn't that a great picture of Maddie? I just love it!

Super Luke!

I'm just tickling him!

Ben took matters into his own...thumb. He was tired and decided to fall asleep himself.

Cookie Monster

Luke loves being in the kitchen with me. Our latest venture was a Chicken casserole. But these cookie pictures are a lot cuter.

tastes just right

No, Mom, I'm pretty sure there was only one.

I don't know where the other one would have gone.

Mmmmmm, smell those chocolate chips

Luke's new rule: if you can catch it, you can eat it.

Go Cardinals!

Grandpa J. invited us once again to enjoy a Brewer's Game in one of the suites. This time it was a Cardinals game so the Husters boys came dressed to cheer on the Red Birds. There are many pictures to highlight Ben's first game and Luke's first Cardinals game but I have to start with Luke's reaction to Duncan's homerun. You can't see the ball, but trust me, you'll know when it goes over the wall.

Yes, Ben is wearing good old gold and blue, his Aunt Kendra helped him "wet" his cute Cardinals outfit and then she very graciously bought him a Brewers outfit

Mommy's little helper

Along with wiping Ben's spit up away from his mouth, and showing Ben how to play with his toys, Luke has become a whiz in the kitchen. So far we've made cookies, brownies, and most recently a birthday cake for Katrina. Luke has actually managed to get most everything in the bowl. He loves throwing the measuring cups into the sink when we're done with them, and he's a pro at putting the sprinkles on a cake. (He's good with birthday candles too!) And here's Luke at work. I can't wait till he's washing dishes!
